There has been a prolonged requirement for transforming the older existing and obsolete areas and settlement to newer and advanced ones. Nowadays, it has also been attributed with the benefits of sustainability and efficiency. One big project in this light is the new Highland Bridge settlement in St. Paul region of Minnesotta. It comprises of an area of one hundred and twenty two acres along the Mississippi river. The area was known for having the assembly plant for Ford Motor Company for over a century. The plan for the new settlement came into being with a virtual groundbreaking done by the Master developer for the project who is based in Minneapolis. The project will be lead by Pulte group with a development of three hundred and twenty row homes. Presbyterian homes will also be joining hands to develop a series of residences for senior living. The project is anticipated to provide and connect a generation of housing and other construction unit options.
Breakdown of the project development
The project will not just cater to living but also to commercial dimensions important for living. It is supposed to have approximately thirty eight hundred units for housing built on around 135 acres of land in the most classic neighborhoods. A total of 150,000 and 265,000 square feet of space is allotted for retail as well as office purposes. Highland bridge also accommodates 50000 sq. ft. of land for institutions and other places of civic utilities.
The area will also have open and public space for around fifty five acres and will include four city parks and ten paths for bikers and pedestrians covering all over a distance of five miles. It is one of the best projects that will have all the amenities for a lavish living.
